My newest story: A Portrait of Senior in Every Industry
My top 5 stories:
The term “senior” refers to people with high experience, knowledge, and expertise over many years of work. Typically, we will have to go through stages such as Intern, Fresher, and Junior — the challenges at these stages will help raise the capacity and level to begin having outstanding performance.
After a certain amount of time in the organization, you would achieve the senior title. This stage varies depending on qualifications, position, and company, but on average, at least 05 years of experience is required. …
There is a misunderstanding that only people working in creative fields, including art, design, film, advertising, etc., need to be creative. And creativity is an ability that only these people above have and need to improve at all times.
Creativity — is essential to everyone.
Naturally, we were born to create, and it is truly a survival skill. Creativity enables us to resolve problems, fulfill needs, and make both material and spiritual values.
According to Don Norman, people develop emotions with an object on three levels: visceral (intrinsic), behavioral (behavior), and reflective (reflection). In case you missed my previous article about the Visceral level, take a look.
I used to cry at the kitchen table of Grandma’s house unconsciously. I was eating in a hurry, then looking at the garden and seeing my grandma’s drying clothes; my tears kept falling without knowing it.
Because that morning, my grandmother passed away.
It was the first time I knew the sadness when a cherished one passed away, the most terrible feeling I had to experience.
And up to 3 times.
That sadness persisted for a long time after that, and I used to think sadness was ugly!
In modern culture, sadness is often not taken seriously. Advertising, marketing, media…
Have you ever feared death?
I first experienced the fear of death when I was an eight-year-old boy, and my mother worked far away from home. There was a movie about the devil at that time that was too much for a child’s mind, especially when the night came and I had to sleep alone. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw the prospect of monsters creeping into bed and taking me away.
I couldn’t sleep; I cried a lot and wrote: “I miss you, Mom” over papers as an attempt to trick my mind into falling asleep.
We all are talented, which means we excel at something. Lucky people are the ones who recognize their talent in the first place and do it passionately, which helps them attain specific work achievements.
However, the problem is that it makes us feel too special to be replaced by someone else. The truth is that life revolves around nobody. We can be good at something and out there full of people who are also doing well or even better than us.
There was a time when I started to get upset that perhaps I am the best fit for the…
A good design is not only solving the right problem but also creates positive emotions for the users. Back in the old days, a physical product could be through the 5 human senses to create emotions; but it seems hard for a digital product because it’s only dry interactions on the device screen, followed by a series of services.
So Digital Product Designers need a deeper understanding of each type of emotion and the psychological principles that can create them.

What belongs to you, but other people use it more than you?
When I was a child, this was my most impressive riddle. The answer is quite simple: it is the “NAME” of each person. From the moment we were born, perhaps the first thing we own is our name. NAME also signals your “presence” in this world, and then the “Ego” comes to light.
It is the fact that the older we get, the more vulnerable our ego becomes. Children only need one candy to be happy, while adults are so egotistical and not easy to calm down. …
I’ve been curious about why some people are doing very good at something but not being able to do something else that is just as good. Over the past years, I’ve been searching for that answer — you may already know it’s people’s competency.
But how can we increase our competency?
Before looking for…
